Join us in our Humanitarian Efforts
While waiting for the Perches Community Center to be completed, a group of staff and volunteers from the First Haitian Baptist Church of Orlando travels to Perches several times a year to provide humanitarian aid to the villagers. We welcome volunteers in any capacity to join our group – medical personnel, missionaries, volunteers, as well as students.
Medical and Dental Missions
If you are a health care professional, there are opportunities to use your training in helping others in Perches, Haiti. There are also opportunities to teach and train medical professionals in techniques and procedures, as well as teaching preventive medicine, all the while closely interacting with and sharing your faith with the villagers.
Humanitarian Aid
Disaster relief, construction, food distribution, medicine distribution, clothing distribution,
all fall under the heading of humanitarian aid and each is a way you can assist in meeting
the physical needs of people as well as their spiritual needs.
