HAITI HUMANITARIAN MISSION
The Perches Community Center will serve the basic needs of the villagers.
In time, it will serve as a core around which small businesses will spring up
and flourish, and help create a sustainable community.
Trained medical personnel, missionaries, volunteers, as well as students will serve the Perches Community Center.
The progress of Perches Community Center depends on our fundraising efforts. The Personnel Facility for the staff and volunteers is almost completed. Next, we will start building the Clinic, which is the most needed. Next, we will build the school which will be used as a Children School by day, and a Trade School at night. The construction of the large Auditorium will follow.
The land acquisition, digging a well, and building the Personnel Facility have been made possible by the generous support of our members as well as contributions from businesses. But we need more – much more, to build the Clinic and complete the entire community center at Perches. We need your continued support. Please open your hearts and help our brothers and sisters in need.
OUR GOALS AND SERVICES
Once in operation, our community center at Perches will provide the following services:
- BUILDING AND OPERATING A MEDICAL CLINIC
Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) Testing,
HIV/AIDS Testing and Treatment
Health Prevention Education
Free Prescription Medications
- BUILDING AND OPERATING AN EDUCATION FACILITY – A Children School by day, and a Trade School at night.
- A LARGE AUDITORIUM – For multiple usage, to include holding conference and other demonstrations, as well as used as a place of worship.
Our ultimate goal is to create a sustainable community at Perches by encouraging small businesses to move into the area and provide jobs.
We welcome all contributions – monetary, building materials, furnishings, food, medical and school supplies and equipment. The quicker we complete the Community Center the quicker we can help the needy villagers of Perches.
